Safety protocol

The haunted attractions include the following elements that may pose risks for some individuals:

Strobe lights — used throughout all mazes; may trigger seizures in photosensitive individuals

Fog and haze effects — may aggravate respiratory conditions

Sudden loud noises and jump scares — can be extremely startling

Dark, confined spaces — may be challenging for guests with claustrophobia

Physical movement through tight corridors — uneven flooring may be present

We strongly advise guests with the following conditions to consult a physician before attending:

Heart conditions or high blood pressure

Epilepsy or seizure disorders

Severe anxiety or PTSD

Claustrophobia

Respiratory conditions

Back, neck, or joint injuries

We do not recommend that pregnant guests participate in the haunted house attractions at 13th Floor Twin Cities.

The experience includes sudden, intense scares, strobe lights, fog effects, loud noises, and movement through dark, confined spaces — all of which can cause significant physical and emotional stress that may not be safe during pregnancy.

Recording devices, flash photography, and flashlights are not allowed inside — photos are welcome in photo op and outdoor areas.

No recording devices, flash photography, or flashlights are permitted inside the attractions. This includes phones, GoPros, and wearable cameras such as Meta (Ray-Ban) smart glasses — camera-equipped glasses must be powered off and stowed before entering. This protects the experience for all guests and the integrity of our sets and effects. Photos and videos are welcome in designated photo op areas, queue lines, and outdoor common areas.
