ABOUT THIS EVENT
Strange and creepy happenings beset an average California family when ghosts commune with them through the television set. Initially friendly and playful, the spirits turn menacing. When five-year-old daughter Carol Ann (Heather O’Rourke) goes missing, parents Steve (Craig T. Nelson) and Diane (JoBeth Williams) enlist a parapsychologist (Zelda Rubinstein) and her team of ghost busters for help. Yet it never occurs to anyone to get rid of the creepy clown doll in the kids bedroom.
