Welcome to The Haunting Experience, the scariest of all the Halloween attractions and haunted houses in Minnesota. It is located just a few minutes south of St. Paul, along Highway 61 in Cottage Grove. We invite you to visit us this October…if you dare. We offer a variety of terrifying attractions and the very best in Halloween entertainment. Enter our fan-favorite Haunted House and jump on Minnesota’s longest-running Haunted Hayride Attraction located near the Twin Cities, MN.

Safety protocol

Comfort and safety are key when navigating our attractions. You will be going up and down stairs, steps, and walking on uneven ground. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothes for such activities. High heels, sandals, and flip-flops are strongly discouraged. Dressing in layers is recommended for chilly autumn nights.
Security and efficiency are important to us, so we are enforcing a no large bags or backpacks policy this year. You will not be allowed through the gate with them.
For safety reasons and to preserve the immersive atmosphere, photography and video recording are not allowed inside the haunted attractions. However, you are welcome to take photos in designated areas outside the haunts and with costumed characters roaming the grounds.
Alcohol will be available for purchase every Friday and Saturday. Outside alcohol is prohibited. You must be 21+ and present a valid ID.
We also offer a variety of non-alcoholic beverages and snacks for those who want to keep the adrenaline pumping without the spirits.
If there is any reason to suspect you are intoxicated, being aggressive, or hostile, we reserve the right to remove you from the premises. For everyone’s safety, we take rules and conduct very seriously. This policy ensures that every guest can enjoy the attractions in a safe and fun environment.
No strollers are allowed into the Haunting Experience. For safety reasons, certain items cannot be brought inside the attractions. Furthermore, it is highly recommended to not bring young children through the attraction. However, we do offer daytime fall activities during our Fall Fun Fest! Families with small children are encouraged to attend this daytime event, which is specifically designed for younger guests.
