ABOUT THIS EVENT
Just 1.5 miles west of the main Arboretum entrance on Highway 5, the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum AppleHouse is an iconic seasonal destination, featuring Minnesota-grown apples, including varieties grown at the Arboretum’s nearby Horticultural Research Center. Many of the University of Minnesota’s introduced apple varieties are for sale, along with gourmet packaged foods, frozen pies, pastries, fudge, gifts and — in the fall — pumpkins, squash and gourds, also grown at the Arboretum. While supplies last, the AppleHouse also offers delicious Goldy’s Smokehouse meats, ice cream and Bee Lab honey from the University of Minnesota College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Science (CFANS). New for 2026! Stop by from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays to sample a featured apple of the day! And don’t miss North Star Donuts on site at the AppleHouse Tuesdays-Sundays until Oct. 31, selling fresh apple cider mini donuts, seasonal coffees and cider slushies that use Arboretum cider! NO U-PICK APPLES FROM WHAT I CAN TELL.
